"The sign says free car wash, not free honking."

I'm really glad that I spent my Saturday doing what I did.

Some of the senior guys and some adults were building a shed for the drama department all day while us others cleaned out drama department stuff and held a car wash to raise funds for the drama shed. The reason why? The drama stuff was being kept in the girls' showers. I enjoyed helping to clean out the drama stuff. In the process, I got to keep a picture that was going to be discarded but I convinced Mrs. R to let me keep. I'll post a picture sometime...once it's hanging up on my wall. But it looks really cool...and I just CAN'T pass up a picture of piano keys, a flute, sheet music, and roses. It sounds lame from my description but it looks REALLY, REALLY cool. I'm also borrowing a southern belle costume for the harvest party and I am ALSO allowed to borrow the same dress I wore for the spring drama to WINTER FORMAL. It's that really pretty floor-length green and black one with the gold designs. Yes. The dress that I am completely and totally in love with since I first put it on. I'm not the kind of girl to obsess over dresses. But that dress is something else...it's like, the awesomest one I've ever seen. I also tried it on...and it still fits perfectly. :) We found some clown stuff in this trunk, and then a string of lights that were in the shape of SHOES. We also got distracted by the old yearbooks and a bunch of that stuff.

After we ate pizza, we helped run the car wash while the people washing cars ate a quick lunch. I helped dry a couple cars and then walked out with a couple other girls out near the highway (yes, our school is RIGHT in front of the main highway) to wave signs around for the car wash. We couldn't get the guys to do it because we girls were more enthusiastic about it. But we got honked at out of anger and a bunch of stuff a couple times. This one guy looked REALLY mad. So I walked back into the building to get water and I said, "Wow, we really fail at advertising. All people do is honk at us." and one of my friends said, "It's a free car wash, not free honking," and I cracked up and almost spit the water in my mouth back into the water fountain. I was like, "That was NOT funny," and he said, "Yeah, that definitely wasn't funny because you had a hard time keeping your water IN YOUR MOUTH because you were laughing so hard." later on when we weren't in the high school building, I sprayed him with a hose for revenge. That was clearly enjoyable. :D

I'm really excited because tomorrow, I'm going to youth group for the first time this year. I've been really bad about it...but I'm trying to get better. I miss everybody. It's really weird...I honestly used to hate going to youth group but now I miss it when I can't go.
