AP US History is OK...just kind of boring. All we get is lectures and we take notes. I like history, though, so it's all good. Which reminds me, this weekend is to catch up on STUDYING for the exam Tuesday, and reading and taking NOTES. But I like learning about the founding of the United States. Very interesting. Except I'm always tired in first period, so I don't pay attention as well. Why does my favorite class have to be FIRST PERIOD?
English is fine. We're studying Greek mythology which is, let me say, interesting because I like reading about that stuff, but I hate having to answer questions about the stories. There are fifteen of us in that class and we get a little crazy. Second period rocks. :)
Let me say, Sign 2 has gotten so much easier than Sign 1. I love that class...we also got NAPTIME (can you believe it? Nap time!) for the last twenty minutes after we finished the fingerspelling quiz, the daily sentence, and the sentences quiz.
I don't necessarily like Algebra 2. Mostly because I hate math and can't do most of those problems to save my life. I'm scraping by with a C or C-, but I can do better. And the people that sit BEHIND me cause a distraction most of the period...let's just say, while our teacher is working on helping us with CORRECTIONS, I'm FINISHING the next math assignment.
I like the lunch period. My favorite class of the day HA, HA. Especially because you can't fail lunch. :D
New Testament is cool, but I liked Old Testament better. I don't know why...I think it has to do with the people that are in the class. Old Testament had a bunch of sophomores in it last year, because it was a sophomore class, and the sophomores were pretty cool. NT has about twenty-seven freshmen and a couple sophomores...it's OK but the freshmen are honestly a LITTLE immature. Not very...but a little. For those freshmen reading this, sorry. You rock though:) I wish I could have taken Practical Christianity...
Gov/Econ is ok. Aside from the fact that you can work ahead and my next assignment is due in JANUARY, I like having seventh period as a study hall to catch up on other work. Very relaxing...haha.
Speech/Health. I have health first semester and we've watched 2 videos so far: Food Inc., which was really gross but definitely true, and part of Supersize Me (we're watching that in class currently). We just got to the part where the guy is puking out the window of his car. Who seriously, in their right mind, would eat McDonald's for 31 days straight? I'd be puking out my guts by the end of day 1.
And that is my sophomore class schedule. ;-)
have fun!
