Well, I have some good news for you...

I SURVIVED!!

Over the course of 2 and 1/2 days, those of us at camp played volleyball for a total of 18 hours. And that's a lot of volleyball. Plus a lot of insanity later on in the dorms...but I'll fill all you in on THAT later. :) Plus the university had good food in their cafeteria. Ask any of us. (=

Thursday: we carpooled out to the university and waited for awhile to check in...then we went to the dorms and got our assignments and I was thankfully on the first floor. We had a 3 hour afternoon session, with 2 hours for dinner and then 2 more hours from 6:30 - 8:30. Then we pretty much had free time from 8:30 - 10:30, which was lights out and we had to shut up.

Friday: We were all tired but it was easy to get up. I woke up with a freaking huge spider bite on my right leg, right where I wear my ankle braces (and I had no calamine lotion or ANYTHING for it so it hurt like crazy), and with all the sweat collecting there didn't make it better. We had a 3 hour morning session, lunch for two hours, and then another 3 hour session. After that we took a 2 hour dinner break, then played more volleyball until 8:30 PM. My roommate had to leave early, so my friends in the room next to me let me lug my mattress in and spend the night over there. We were up LATE talking and gossiping and stuff. Oh, and eating food. I painted a friend's nails for her, and we were all PLANNING on ordering a pizza (that's like, what all the teams do. Plus the people at the front desk) but just devoured a bunch of peoples' junk food. Then the college players had to walk over to our room and tell us to be quiet (they were in the room next door and could hear us really well) so we decided to go to bed. OH! I also got an actual jersey - well, it looks like the real thing. I think I've got #0 'cause it has no number (they didn't have 21...or 19, sadly).

Saturday: it was really hard to get up. We were all really quiet and exhausted. There was another 3 hour session, lunch, and then our FINAL session for 2 hours. At the beginning, we did these horrible (but helpful) workout-type activities. Have you ever done the one where you are pretty much dragging yourself across the gym floor with ONLY your hands? We did things like that. Then during the last session, we pretty much did pool play (scrimmaged with other teams on six courts). Then we went home, woohoo! And now I'm really tired - I mean, who wouldn't after playing that much volleyball in 2 and 1/2 days? - and sore (my hips hurt really bad from diving and that's about it), and smell really bad (I can proudly say I haven't taken a shower in that long...my mistake) so I'm probably gonna hop in the shower in a few minutes. :)

CAMP WAS AWESOME!<3

  2. Haha why thank you. Quite an accomplishment(=

Lol, I can believe you would do something like that...:D

Amen to that. Spiders don't terrify me, it's just their bites that do. XP

Yay for number zero!<3 Although 21 is a little better...haha(=

Cool! I'll take the time to say hi to Snoopy now. HI, SNOOPY! Enjoy sleeping!! I wish I was you right now!

Oh wait...actually, it was more like playing volleyball for 20-21 hours or something so we played longer than 18(=
