This spring, the choir at my school gets to travel up to Washington for a competition (choir club people included:), and you get to sing as a group, sing solo pieces, instrumentals, etc. So my teacher suggested I do a piece on the piano for it, and I agreed...not sure what I'd pick or what would happen, since she said they preferred classical pieces, and well, I hate classical. But I talked to her about doing something different, and she agreed to let me play a jazzy piece, Linus and Lucy. If you haven't heard it before, just go on Youtube and search: "Linus and Lucy piano by Vince Guaraldi". It's the coolest song I've ever heard! And played! But I hope to get a video of my performance when it happens...I'll talk to somebody and see if they'll film it haha. xP
It's CHRISTMAS BREAK! Did you know that the song "The First Noel" was originally spelled "Nowell"?
And yes, I quit basketball. I played and then quit. So I have Christmas break free. xP and I can use all of my valuable time to catch up on AP History, maintain my notebook, get ahead in GOVERNMENT, practice Linus and Lucy, and there was something else that I forgot...
